It’s a massive 33-foot-high rock climbing wall. NCL’s Epic, which will house over 4,000 passengers, is set for delivery late-May 2010. Bosses at the cruise line claimed Epic will have the biggest tube slide and the largest bowl slide at sea when Epic sets sail. CEO Kevin Sheehan said: “From the Aqua Park to the expanding sports deck and largest Kid’s Crew facility, to the most dining outlets at sea, Norwegian Epic is truly taking Freestyle Cruising to the next level by offering out guests so many choices in dining and on-board activities.” The ship will also have the most bowling lanes afloat with six in two venues, a mixed-use sports deck with eight different sporting activities and the first squash court at sea. NCL said it has put over 43-years of innovation in the cruise industry into building this new ship. Epic will also be the biggest in the fleet.
