SEVEN SEAS are set to fix a broken propulsion pod in Dubai the cruise operator confirmed in a few days time. The Seven Seas' Voyager ship has been operating at reduced speed after a fishing line became tangled in a propeller, causing one pod to shut down.

Engineers met the ship yesterday in Cochin confirming the pod needs more work than first planned.

As a result, Seven Seas Voyager is now proceeding directly to Dubai and will miss calls at Mumbai and Abu Dhabi.

The ship is due in Dubai late Monday or early Tuesday.

Additional technicians will join the ship there to carry out the repairs. The cruise firm told Holidayinsiders.com the April part of the world cruise will operate as planned.
