A 14-YEAR-OLD girl had to be airlifted off the Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas to a hospital in Houston. The unidentified teen was returning from a seven night cruise. It is believed she set sail with her family from Galveston on December 28, 2008. The U.S. Coast Guard told Holidayinsiders.com that they had received an emergency call at 12:50 p.m. Sunday reporting the girl had fainted, requiring immediate medical attention. Voyager was about 200 miles southeast of Galveston when the captain made the shout for action via VHS radio to the emergency services. Coast Guard launched a MH-65 rescue helicopter from the Houston air station and airlifted the girl off the ship. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, her medical condition was not known . The Voyager of the Seas is scheduled to make port in Galveston on Sunday morning.
