NCL Spirit sails again after multi-million dollar refit NORWEGIAN Cruise Lines
has just unveiled a multi-million dollar overhaul of one of its oldest ships Norwegian Spirit.
The 2,376 passenger cruise liner was brought back into service on Sunday and set sail on Western Caribbean programme calling in Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, Guatemal and Belize City.
The ship sails from its new home port of New Orleans, had a refit of carpets in and out of cabins, new engines, pool decks, and the 700- Stardust Theatre.
NCL took over the vessel from parent company Star Cruises in 2004, making it 10-years old.
Chairs have been reupholstered throughout the vessel, new tiles in 300 of the bathrooms, wallpaper updated and the phone system upgraded across the ship.
